moth?
Are there daytime moths? There were dozens of these flitting around the area all afternoon. But they *never* stopped flitting! Hence the horrible picture. Also, *very* shy. If they lit anywhere, they'd take off if I got within 20 or so feet of them. They reminded me a *lot* of cabbage butterflies, but they're quite a bit smaller. Probably a little smaller than a skipper.

moth
There are quite a few day-flying moths, some of which are quite pretty but often small. In my experience many of the day-flying moths are quite wary, always on the go, and are often very difficult to approach for a macro shot. I need lots of patience and luck to get close.
