Mirid Nymph?

Mirid Nymph?
Virginia Beach, Virginia, USA
April 27, 2008
Size: 2.5mm
Found this bug on my trash can while doing yardwork today. It looked like an *phid until I viewed it through my camera. I think it is a Mirid Bug nymph.

These are all over
in my yard right now in northern VA as well, mixed in with some of mottled brown coloration but the same basic shape and size. Nice shots. I, too, thought they were aphids till I took a picture.

Thanks for the image compliment!
The wife told me they were in her flower beds too.

Yes.
Your ID is correct and your images are stunning.

Thank you Eric!
