Neuroptera larva and IO Moth eggs on Juniper - Chrysoperla
6 miles NW Lyons, Boulder County, Colorado, USA
July 20, 2004
Size: BL ~6 mm.
This larva was eating these Io Moth (Automeris io) eggs on a juniper in the CO foothills at about 6400' elevation. Exactly one month earlier we watched the female Io laying these eggs. Is it possible to get the larva to a group within Neuroptera? Any help is much appreciated.
