October 2, 2014: G. Heidebrink and I were hiking in the woods when one of us found this stem gall on Wood Nettle, Laportea canadensis.


September 11, 2015: opened gall to a dark fuzz inside of which were cocoons with spent pupae and wasps, found 4, wasps don't appear to have (full) wings
