Falcon State Park, Zapata County, Texas, USA

Size: ~8 mm TL

Moved
Moved from Cacotherapia. After review of all Cacotherapia species on MPG and BOLD, unipuncta is the only greenish species within the genus that might be confused with flexilinealis. The Dyer original description of unipuncta is as follows: "...outer discal mark a large round black spot; inner obsolete; lines slender, black, but not so dark as the discal dot..." Lacking a large round discal dot and lines that are as dark or darker than the discal dash showing on this moth, I have decided to move to species.
