Class Insecta (Insects)
Order Lepidoptera (Butterflies and Moths)
Superfamily Tortricoidea (Tortricid Moths)

Genus Syricoris
Species lacunana (Syricoris lacunana - Hodges#2859.5)
Hodges Number
2859.5
Range
This species appears to be represented by BOLD:AAC3531. This BIN includes mainly specimens from Europe as well as some from eastern Canada around the Gulf of St. Lawrence and western Canada in central British Columbia and northern Alberta.
Remarks
BOLD:AAB4022, which includes specimens from Washington state and southern Vancouver Island, contains mostly specimens misidentified as Orthotaenia as well as one identified by dissection as Syricoris lacunana, but this identification is probably also in error. That BIN appears to represent "Olethreutes" deprecatoria.
