probably C. cockerelli
note the wing venation and especially the marginal cell apex (separated from margin) and distinctive shape of submarginal cells (note large 2nd cell).

Centris sp?
Not sure I'd rule out a species of Centris, but I can't tell positively from these images. John Ascher should know, though, and I'd defer to his opinion:-)

Quite possible,
in terms of general looks, though I've seen photos of similar (at least superficially) Anthophora.
I don't know at this point how to differentiate the tribes Anthophorini and Centridini.
So, thanks, Eric, for keeping me in thinking mode. John Ascher will probably have some enlightening comments.

wing venation is helpful
note obliquely truncate marginal cell apex and submarginal cell 3 strongly narrowed anteriorly and submarginal cell 2 broadened anteriorly in Centris
