This was not very close to water, which I believe helps in suggesting D. tenebrosus

D. tenebrosus can be found away from water as well. This matches D. tenebrosus in both key features and range. The dark clypeus (face around eyes) especially allows a confident Dolomedes tenebrosus identification.
