Tiny Black Fruit-loving Wasp Thing

Tiny Black Fruit-loving Wasp Thing
Lincoln, Lancaster County, Nebraska, USA
April 8, 2020
Sorry, no size. It was extremely tiny. It is pictured on the edge of a plate. One of the kids found it running around the plate and it appeared to be sampling juice from the fruit in her lunch. The door had been open a lot, so it probably came in from outside not long before the picture was taken. I am including a couple of different perspectives in hope that it helps somewhat. Very interesting little thing.

Aphidiinae…
Females are parasitoids of aphids, but they will gladly take a sip of sugar wherever they can find it.
