pic of lateral thorax - not a lot of obvious hairs, but I'm not sure how to rule out small numbers of pale hairs, e.g.

I wonder if the couplet in MND still applies to Eutrichota?

It's not the part of Eutrichota formerly known as Eremomyioides. I thought it was closer to Eutrichota affinis but I see a strong pre-alar so it's not that.
