Acronicta retardata - male

Acronicta retardata - Male
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
April 11, 2020
The adult emerged the evening of 04/11. A bit of a problematic emergence as the lower half of the pupal case remained attached to the moth as the wings hardened. Managed to get it off once that was complete but a bit of the pattern along the inner margin was abraded in the process.
