Found at the Chisos Basin Campground. At first thought this was
X. lacustrata until I saw Texas not in the range of that species. After a bit of digging, came across
E. swetti. The moth I am posting matches up well with the original description by Cassino in 1927, especially the ash gray hindwing. It also appears that most of the images of this species posted at Barcode of Life are from SW Texas. I found two of these that night, but the other is a bit worn. It might be worth posting that one as well since there are so few images of this species. I believe there is another image from 2016 posted on BugGuide at the tribe level that belongs under this species. Here is a link to that image:
