Something strange is going on
See iNaturalist here
Looks like someone has followed grapevines to Sycamore Canyon. It will be interesting to find out what is going on there.
David, how close was this to Parson Spring Trail or Summers Spring in Sycamore Canyon?

Photograph taken from Parsons
Photograph taken from Parsons Spring Trail, about half way between the trailhead and Summers Spring.

A lot has changed. Last year there was a fire up canyon, then there was lots of rain, massive flooding, and an amazing amount of flood debris.

There are only wild grape in the canyon (Vitis arizonica), but there are vineyards in the Verde Valley.

Moved to Androloma disparata
Moved from Butterflies and Moths. All other known species in the US can be ruled out. This is an interesting record, so do collect the species if you happen to see it again!

Acknowledged, thank you.
Acknowledged, thank you.

Looks more like Androloma disparata to us
but what would that be doing in Arizona??
