Mystery bug - Closterocoris amoenus

Mystery bug - Closterocoris amoenus
Laguna Beach, Woods End Preserve, Orange County, California, USA
May 2, 2008
Size: ~8mm bl
On bush monkeyflower

Moved
Moved from True Bugs.

a subadult member of Miridae

Definitely not an ID!
But, I noticed that some of the broad-headed bugs look a bit like your bug (kind of an ant mimic?) - might want to look at their photos while you wait for Eric or someone else to give you a real ID...

Not broad-headed
This is a nymph of Closterocoris amoenus. I raised it to adulthood and there's no doubt about it.
