Mycophagous Geometer? - Glenoides texanaria

Mycophagous Geometer? - Glenoides texanaria
Karnack, Harrison County, Texas, USA
April 20, 2020
Size: 20mm
The larva molted again on 04/14. Somewhat concerning, the molt took the better part of two days. As far as appearance the white lateral swellings on A2 have become noticeably enlarged. The ground color continues to move towards olive green from the initial gray (you are what you eat?) and the head capsule is now more white than black. Still happily existing on whatever is found on dead twigs as what turns out to be the final instar.
