Bee from WV - Halictus confusus - female

Bee from WV - Halictus confusus - Female
Jackson's Mill, Lewis County, West Virginia, USA
April 24, 2008
Size: 9-10 mm.
Found on dandelion.

Halictus (Seladonia) confusus
female

note apical hair bands

My mistake
I should have seen the stripes were apical, not basal.

Thanks
I thought that it may be Halictus.

A bigger Lasioglossum - female
Many Lasioglossum and Halictus sp. are fond of Dandelion and related yellow Asteraceae (e.g. Hieracium, Crepis and so on).
