Long, Thin Rove Beetle - Astenus

Long, Thin Rove Beetle - Astenus
Eugene, Lane County, Oregon, USA
April 16, 2020
Size: 3.5mm
I'm fairly confident it's a rove beetle, but I've never seen one quite like this. I found it on a decaying log in the park after climbing over a few downed trees.

It may be the thinnest rove beetle I've seen, at around 0.5mm wide. When I first saw it, I thought it could be some kind of massive thrips.
