Identification
Range
Widely distributed from eastern Newfoundland and Maine to western British Columbia, southern Alaska and southward through to New Mexico and Arizona.
Season
Adults fly mid May to early August
Food
Larvae usually in flowers of Achillea sp. and Castilleja sp. and in the foliage of Salix sp., Ribes sp., Rosa sp., and Pentaphylloides floribunda.
