Remarks
Erasmoneura variabilis is the morphological equivalent of Erasmoneura vulnerata in the east. These two species can easily be distinguished by range except in eastern Arizona where both species have been recorded. It is plausible that both species have a greater overlap in range in the west than has been reported. Erasmoneura fulmina is a very similar species in the east, but it is distinctive enough to be differentiated visually.
