pronggilled mayfly - Leptophlebia - female

pronggilled mayfly - Leptophlebia - Female
Pachaug State Forest, Griswold, New London County, Connecticut, USA
May 2, 2020
Size: ws approx 15mm,
Three tails, short antennae, not more than 10mm length head to abdomen. 17:15 landed in front of me and I took two close-ups while it paused, on a rock a few yards from a falling brook off a short, rocky hillside. I was being swarmed by black flies the entire visit but left unscathed under their patrol.

Leptophlebia
Hi Brian-

I believe this female subimago to be of genus Leptophlebia.
