Cannon River Trout Lily SNA, Rice County, Minnesota, USA
May 3, 2020
In floodplant forest. I keep running into dead ends in trying to identify this fly. I have no photographs from other angles.

Lejops bilinearis … male.
Lejops bilinearis … male.
In Europe, they give Anasimyia full genus status and many, including me, would place this in Anasimyia bilinearis but at present they are still put in Lejops.
Note strongly looped R4+5 vein - Eristalini
