Utah encyrtid with spiky shoulders - Ectromatopsis americana

Not surprisingly, I thought this was an ant at first. I had just photographed harvester and honeypot ants in the vicinity, but as I watched this little cutie walk, I quickly recognized the chalcidoid features. Super cool!
