Madison, Dane County, Wisconsin, USA
Kindly identified by Robert Otto

Natural History
This is one of three eucnemids in Wisconsin considered extremely rare. Dr. Dan Young and I published a paper on the natural history for this eucnemid. It is found in the Coleopterists Bulletin 1998 vol. 52, no.4, pp.306-312. This species is closely related to an Australian eucnemid, Pseudomenes bakewelli (Bonvouloir).
