This is a different beetle in a different location than the one I found the day before. My son and I were looking for fossil sharks teeth on a beach in Fairhaven. As I had shown him the beetle from the day before he informed me that there was another one. This one was crawling just above the surf line and seems to have maybe gotten wet.
