I didn't think this was a miner when I first collected it, but now I do--the mine has lengthened, and there appears to be a long lep-like larva in it. This reminds me of Cosmopterix??

Okay, not a Landryia. I think this will turn out to be a Dichomeris, based on the habits and the appearance of the larva. These aren't really known to start out as leafminers, but I'm working on rearing another apparent Dichomeris that started from a similar mine on Rudbeckia.
