There are a few specimens currently identified as
Chrysoperla that should be corrected as
Chrysopodes collaris (this species was just recently added to the guide and is the only member of its genus to occur in the US). I've added some notes as comments to the individual pages as to traits visible on the particular photos. Here are some of the comparative notes that seem to be most useful for photos:
Chrysoperla: cell im not overlapped by cell r2; clypeus unmarked; clypeus unmarked apart from maybe directly adjacent to the genae; head generally either the body's base green, a pale green, or yellow-green in species that overlap
Chrysopodes collaris
Chrysopodes: cell im distinctly overlapped by cell r2; clypeus with red lineations (sinistrodextral) as a highly unique trait; head and streak down the body normally distinctly white with very stark contrast to the main body color
