Hi Salvador, if you were in Temporal Canyon on the south side of the Santa Rita Mts, that would be Santa Cruz County. Though perhaps you mean a different Temporal Canyon?

No dissection, no eggs laid
I vaguely remember seeing an image of a specimen with thicker or a bit pectinate antennae and assumed that my moth must be a female. After looking again at other images, I can't see much difference among them in regards to their antennae. The following image appears to have thicker antennae, but I think it is just an illusion resulting from the shadow mixing with the moth:
