Moved from Click Beetles, along with two other individuals identified as the same species. Perhaps having them all together will shed more insight, one way or the other....

In trying to fill out the blanks in the Guide page, I found that this species may be more widely accepted as placed in the genus Conoderus than Heteroderes. Anyone have access to a library or on-line journals that might shed light into which of these is the proper generic placement?

...is what the author of each paper claims it to be. i wouldn't spend time on that.
