midge outbreak 4 - Male

Size: 4 mm
Probably the same species as "midge outbreak 3".

I was at one of my favorite birding spots and ran into the most incredible outbreak of midges I can recall. Every surface was covered with them; the air was filled; spider webs were sagging and overloaded. I believe there were at least 4 species – possibly more. I am submitting a number of photos in the hope of getting some help with identification.
