Large spider on small concrete spillway - Dolomedes vittatus

Large spider on small concrete spillway - Dolomedes vittatus
Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
May 26, 2020
I spotted this large spider as I was walking along a wooded trail, not far from a river. At first I thought it might be a wolf spider, because of its size, but its coloration did not match other wolf spiders that I had seen. Shape wise it reminded me more of a fishing spider, but I have seen them only in the water and not on dry land.
