Unknown Salticid - Metacyrba taeniola

Unknown Salticid - Metacyrba taeniola
Cary, Wake County, North Carolina, USA
May 24, 2005
I find this species all the time in my backyard as well as inside my house. They are very small, and look like ants at first glance. The abdomen is slighty thinner and longer than most other Salticidae. This particular specimen is missing the 3rd leg on the left side. I've come up empty-handed every time I've tried to find the specific species.
