Springtail

Springtail
Block Island, Washington County, Rhode Island, USA
May 29, 2020
I occasionally see minute springtails at my desk and finally managed to photograph one. They look silvery to the naked eye but quite different magnified!

Moved

Entomobryomorpha
It looks deformed by dehydration... Given it appears silvery when alive, it could be Willosia nigromaculata, which is a typical domestic Collembola. Seira sp. is another candidate.
