Added -
photomicrographs of the ventral (I think) mouthparts, the remaining palp, and a claw taken through the ocular of a compound scope after slide mounting in Euparal. Not surprisingly, it is going to take me a while to learn to make good slides - this one probably needed less clearing and more elimination/dissection of the body contents, which obscured most of the mite after slide prep.
