tiny blue fuzzy ?aphids? on a branch of blue spruce on the Stonerose Grounds. The possible adults (to be confirmed) looks like this: , The pseudocaones look like this:

How was this ID made?

 
Association of specimens on ?
Association of specimens on ?blue? spruce with pseudocone galls. Its quite possible I have it wrong though. I am posting a series of images I took last summer of adults emerging from the pseudocones. They may help in identification of the species.

 
Probably not related...
I think you would only see the nymphs inside the galls; also the nymphs of the two species I'm considering for the associated galls should be either "pale yellow with fine white pulverulency" or "reddish with abundant flocculance." (1)
