Pennsylvania Ant for ID - Camponotus chromaiodes

Pennsylvania Ant for ID - Camponotus chromaiodes
Northkill Road north of Shartlesville, Berks County, Pennsylvania, USA
May 29, 2020
Size: 15-16 mm
Found under bark of felled dead deciduous tree, with no other similar ants nearby. I have frequently encountered this - probably the largest ant I ever see in my area of Southeast PA, always seemingly alone, in these woodlands in dead logs or sometimes on the ground. Submitted for an ID.
