Moth? - Nigronia fasciata

Moth? - Nigronia fasciata
Occoquan Regional Park, Fairfax County, Virginia, USA
June 5, 2020
When I first saw this insect, I thought it was a newly emerged dragonfly, because its flight was weak and fluttering. As I observed it, though, it became clearer that it was not a dragonfly, but some kind of moth that I had never seen before. I was in deep shade, so it was tough to get a decent shot of the insect that was in almost constant motion.
