In the evening; several individuals found on the grassy, north, edge of a cement walkway through a meadow 75m from the Willamette River. Once, I saw one in the afternoon, but it seems evening is preferred(?). It ran like a tiger .. but not as fast as most and a shoter run .. and was easy! to catch; did not fly!
