Ben, I see some of the other pictures under C. nearcticus are this color too. Thanks for the help!

Camponotus sp.
One of these days I should try to get a local ant specialist take a look at some of these. Maybe a few more species would be added to the guide.

Carpenter Ant (Camponotus sp.) - minor worker
Very similar to C. nearcticus except for not being all black. Maybe new for BG.

 
variation
As I understand it, C. nearcticus often shows this color pattern rather than being wholly black. The locality narrows down the possibilities from Myrmentoma.
