Help with identifying bed bug / bat bug / swallow bug

Help with identifying bed bug / bat bug / swallow bug
Manhattan, Riley County, Kansas, USA
June 8, 2020
Thank you for helping with bug identification.

If you could please let me know if this is a bed bug that would be great.

I found it crawling on top of my desk this morning at 8:00 AM, and it somewhat matches pictures which is freaking me out.
Our bedroom is about 12 feet away from the office where the desk is.

We live on the third floor of our apartment complex (with other apartments), have had bats from our chimney enter
our house before, and currently have an owl which regularly makes noises on top of our chimney.

Thank you.

from what I can tell...
doesn't appear to be a traditional bed bug. Only one image is present, and the specimen appears wet(?). A dry specimen would be easier to analyze

@ Blaine Mathison
Hi Blaine,

Thank you for responding.

The specimen was under bright light in my attempt to pickup the hairs around it's body. The wetness that appears around it is masking tape used to hold the specimen.

How do I link more pictures? It seems to allow only one picture at a time.

Thanks!

Thanks for the tip.

Thought it was just editing the main picture instead of adding.
