"Ferguson (MONA fasc. 18.1, p. 107 and pl. 4, figs. 34-41): "Some specimens, particularly from Texas, have a solid green band preceding the PM and following the AM [lines] and, when present, this feature is diagnostic for the species." The present moth isn't one of the true green forms, but the pattern is distinctive."
