Abia americana (Cresson)
The only Abia known in western N. Amer. Just resting on pine; larval hosts are Symphoricarpos and Lonicera.

Appears to be a Sawfly in the family Cimbicidae.

Probably genus Zaraea, especially if it was not really big:-)
