Yep
I would agree with your ID. Looks to be a Great Blue, and a nice individual.
I would lighten up on the copyright though. Its very big, very dark , very heavy and extremely distracting. Does nothing for your photos and distracts from your subject quite extremely. You could try making it (at least) 60% transparent so its there but not distracting. Placing a copyright on a photo is sometimes a good idea but it shouldn't be THE focus of the photo. Also, besides being a bit of an eyesore, this one is just plain hard to read what it even says.

Thanks for the confirmation.
And the advice. I have set the copyright layer to 50%. You are right, it is a little less strain on the eyes. As far as the design,
I
can't do much to help that. I am not an artist and have no imagination :( I will try to mess with it some but can't promise great results. I haven't had anybody mention the anything about the copyright before so I didn't know it was a problem.
I have spent a lot of money on equipment and spent countless hours crawling through the alligator filled swamps, snake filled woods and fields to get these pictures and I do want to protect them. The copyright isn't so painful on my larger prints. But hopefully, setting the transparency to 50% will help a little. Please feel free to offer any other pointers :)
