Size: 1.5 mm nose to body rear
Found by digging a small bit of soil from our yard. This was in the soil.

And a helpful trick for ruling out Symphylans is that their first instars have more than three pairs of legs (they hatch with 6 to 7 pairs of legs)

Honestly it looks more like a Collembola or something to me, and I doubt it can be identified. The photos themselves are very nice, but I would recommend this submission be frassed rather than hang out in the unidentified section indefinitely.

Definitely a juvenile myriapod, but I would lean more towards a millipede based on body shape and low number of antennal segments.

Without obvious association with adults, I would hesitate to ID any first instar millipede, even to order.
