My best guess is Xysticus cunctator:

Probably cristatus, a little more reddish than usual but that
species is so doggone variable...

Thanks. I have just checked the cristatus page at Canadian arachnology:
http://www.canadianarachnology.org/data/spiders/31860

The confirmed observation for cristatus is in the Puget Sound area, whereas for cunctator the observations are east of the Cascades.

Plus the photo matches well.
