Coelioxys
This looks like a cuckoo leafcutter (Coelioxys) but I don't know of any that are metallic. They are all black (sometimes with red) and quite shiny. I will let an expert chime in.

That was the direction in which I was leaning, Molly. Like you, I cannot find an immediate match with these features, however.
