Arthropleona - Cyphoderus similis

Arthropleona - Cyphoderus similis
Houston, Harris County, Texas, USA
May 17, 2008
Size: ~1-2 mm
Under a log.

Moved

Cyphoderus (family Cyphoderidae) ...
or Pseudosinella (family Entomobryidae, subfamily Lepidocyrtinae)...

Thanks, Frans.
I was looking at cyphoderus sp. and I remembered that this guy was found under a log next to a colony of ants, probably Pheidole. Maybe that will help. Thanks again for the help!

In that case:
We could ID this specimen as Cyphoderus similis, of which is know that it lives in ant nests.
