Falsomordellistena pubescens

Falsomordellistena pubescens
Horton Grove Preserve, Durham County, North Carolina, USA
June 6, 2020
Size: 3-4 mm
Size estimated. These Mordellids were crawling over leaves, flying, and landing again. Looks like, perhaps, lekking behavior. I think they were all the same species, so am combining several images of (two or more?) individuals under one BugGuide observation. Images have been cropped heavily from originals. Location near:
36.143290, -78.846608
I am placing these under Mordellidae, but I think they are a good match for Falsomordellistena pubescens. Compare:

Confirmation or refutation appreciated, of course.

Moved
Moved from Tumbling Flower Beetles.
Looking in detail at these images, the match to other images labeled as this species appears to be good.
