we're amazed
We're amazed at how much this looks like Amanda! Can they be told apart, or do you just go by the males present, or the location?

They are very close in appear
They are very close in appearance, but Martha's has 3 black stripes in the hindwing spot, compared to 2 in Amanda's. Geography is another key here. Martha's Pennant is only in the northeast, and Amanda's ranges from Virginia southward. This is a fresh female here. Females get darker with age, and can almost look like a male.
