Black Wasp with Red Abdomen - female

Black Wasp with Red Abdomen - Female
Atlantic Park, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada
June 13, 2020
Size: About 2 cm
Saw flying across the grass and initially thought a Spider Wasp, upon closer inspection I think something in Cryptini. It landed at the base of a large tree and scuttled up and down the bark near some anthills at the base of the tree. It did not stay still for long and was hard to photograph.
