Size: ~>1 cm
This was smallish for an ichneumon, a little over 1 cm in body length

Moved from Macrocentrinae or Homolobinae (Paul Marsh det.).

The head's thicker than should be expected in Macrocentrinae. There also may be evidence of an occipital carina (best seen under higher magnification), which definitely doesn't occur in the former family.

Not an ichneumon.
Wing venation is wrong. This is a braconid. Nice shot, moving to Braconidae page.
